17th November 2003 - Sadly, MP3.com has announced that it will be closing down on Tuesday December 2nd 2003 at 12:00 PST, with CD purchases ceasing on Monday 17th November 2003 at 12:00 p.m. PST. We will therefore be looking into providing our music through another online distributor as soon as possible. If you wish to purchase a copy of Looking Ahead then you'll have to be quick as we have only a very, very limited amount of CDs available. After the MP3.com 17/11/03 deadline these can be purchased direct from us and all CDs will be autographed! If you wish to have an unautographed CD then just let us know when you place your order. Equally, if you would like a personalised CD signing then please indicate this when you order. To order just send us an e-mail at the usual address. The exact price hasn't been decided yet but will be comparible to the price it has recently been on MP3.com, likely around £8 (including postage, although a little more if you want recorded delivery). We will let you know as soon as possible.
It's been a while since there was any news but that's really because there's not been that much to tell! We have been writing over our break and we are pleased to say that there are some great songs being considered for our second album. Some song titles to whet your appetite: And It's You, She Calls Him An Angel, Give Me Some Time, A Woman Like You. With our huge catalogue of songs, we obviously won't be including solely newly written songs on the album, but some will certainly be there. At the moment, our working title for the album is Don't Rock The Pharoah, but as always with these things, this is subject to change.

The final track listing has changed from what was previously listed. This is due to Glenn being dissatisfied with one of his songs, My Only Dream. He decided that it just wasn't coming together so the order of the remaining songs has been shuffled slightly to accomodate. Here is the final track listing:
1) Absolution/Reckless (Absolution: G. Shepherd/D. Reader; Reckless: G. Shepherd)
2) One Rule (D. Reader)
3) Journey Through Emotions (D. Reader/R. Wilcock)
4) She's The One (D. Reader/G. Shepherd)
5) Stay With Me Tonight (D. Reader/G. Shepherd)
6) Now I'm Alone Again (D. Reader)
7) The Day We Said Goodbye (G. Shepherd)
8) The Sadness In Your Eyes (G. Shepherd)
9) Jo (D. Reader)
10) The World Keeps Going Round (G. Shepherd)
11) If You Would Love Me/Absolution (Reprise) (If You Would Love Me: D. Reader; Absolution: G. Shepherd/D. Reader)
To promote this album, we are offering a complete MP3 download of She's The One. Check it out by visiting our downloads section.

14th February 2003 - The main news is that lots of work has been done on Looking Ahead over the last few months. We are pleased to announce that we are aiming for an April 2003 release. We have found ourselves swapping and changing the content a fair bit due to the fact that we wish to include some of the newly written songs on the album. Listeners' opinions of all the songs so far is very positive indeed and we hope that you will find the CD worth the wait!
The website will be undergoing a complete overhaul very soon. The priority for us has obviously been recording but now that so much work has been done in that regard, some time will be spent on revamping the site, hopefully within the next week - a revamp is LONG overdue!
28th July 2002 - We have finally got the problems with connecting to our Freenetname account sorted out so hopefully, updates a-plenty from now on! These will include a full site redesign incorporating exclusive new promotional pictures and new sound clips.
Album update: We are pleased to confirm that our first album will definitely be titled "Looking Ahead." Work is progressing really well and we are intending to have it released this year. At this stage we are reluctant to suggest a more specific time frame but as soon as we have more of an idea we shall post that information here. We currently have the main tracks laid down for four definite inclusions, including She's The One and Journey Through Emotions. We have been writing some great stuff in recent months and a few of these brand new songs will be making it onto the album too. The front cover for the album has been finished and we also have many photos for the the inner sleeve and multimedia content. So as you can see, things are moving along nicely!
24th March 2001 - For the moment, Looking Ahead is to be placed in second place in our list of priorities. We shall still be working on the album and we are going ahead with it as planned, hopefully for release later this year, but we have some more important work to undertake immediately. A famous band is hoping to record a new album soon and they are looking for new material. As a result, we have been asked to send them some of our songs. Therefore we shall be putting all our efforts in getting a demo tape together for them. As soon as the demo is done then all our efforts will be concentrated towards our own album.
27th February 2001 - Firstly, we would like to apologise to those of you who have been waiting for our site to be updated. Still to be updated is our picture page (a popular request!), but fear not - this will definitely be updated within the next few days.
We are pleased to announce that recording is underway for our very first album. The album has the working title of "Looking Ahead" and we are currently working on a song called "Journey Through Emotions" which was written by David and a friend of ours. The reason for the delay in getting the project underway was a lack of suitable equipment but that is no longer a problem. We could, of course, have gone into a studio but finance would have been a problem. In the mean time though, we have been working on the songs for the album so we should be able to move swiftly along with the project (we hope!). We will keep you up to date with devolopments (and perhaps provide sneak previews!) and if there is sufficient demand, we will introduce a mailing list. If you like the idea of a mailing list keeping you up to date with all the latest news then please drop us a line.
11th April 2000 - Unfortunately, things have been a bit slow recently but we are pleased to say that we are now actively working on the songs for our album. Of course, a lot of work is still to be done but we have pretty much decided on which songs will be on there and we are currently working on these songs.
Nothing much seems to be happening with David's new band. It does unfortunately seem that this venture has died before it has had the chance to be born.
Regarding this website, there have been a few additions. Request has been previously made for a guestbook. However, with the lack of updates, this has been absent for a while. We are pleased to inform you that a guestbook is now available and this can be accessed via the frame on the left. Also, you may now download some MP3 clips of a few of our songs. The clips are only taken from our rehearsal tapes and do not reflect what will be released on the finished album, although one or more of these songs may be on the album when mixed properly. For now you will at least be able to have an idea of our sound and what to expect from our album.
8th Nov 1999 - Today David revealed that he is joining a new band. He will be filling the role of bassist/harmony vocalist for the Warrington-based band immediately. However, this will not affect David's contribution to Westcut and he is just as eager as ever to get the recording for the new album underway. Glenn's reaction to the news was, "Do they need a producer?"
7th Nov 1999 - This is quite an exciting time for us as we are currently in the planning stages for our first album. You will be able to hear some samples from the album and purchase it from MP3.com when it is finished.
We are in fact having trouble choosing which songs to include on the album as we have so many to choose from. We will keep you informed as to any new developments as they happen. As the saying goes, WATCH THIS SPACE!
